Open‘Trust me it will be in Chicago’ – Angel Reese issues warning as she claims Unrivaled could be home forever

Angel Reese has waxed lyrical about her new team and job.

The WNBA star is set to feature in Unrivaled and made a stunning admission about the facilities in Miami compared to her own team, the Chicago Sky.

Unrivaled, a new women’s 3×3 basketball league featuring some of the biggest WNBA stars, is beginning in Florida.

The league, which was founded by Olympians and basketball stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, has drawn praise for its stunning facilities.

All six-teams in the league are to be hosted in the same venue for all nine weeks with all six changing rooms in one building.

The site, which will host the likes of Angel Reese and Sabrina Ionescu, used to be an empty parking lot and a production studio but has gone through a remarkable transformation in just six weeks.

Unrivaled has invested heavily into their amenities as they aim to bring the very best out of their players while also creating an environment to make them comfortable and relaxed.

Such investment came from a recent Series A funding which raised a combined $35 million and includes big investors like Coco Gauff and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The building contains a family room, nursery, podcast room and esthetician room to meet every wide and varying need of the 36 players who will play in the league.

It also has a weight facility, a glam room designed by makeup brand Sephora and massage room.

Reese, who will play for Rose Basketball in the league, could not contain her own awe at the facilities.

“I would stay here forever,” Reese said in her first Unrivaled media availability.

“Everything I need is here — from massages to cold tubs, to being able to have resources, to workouts and everything.”

The 22-year-old issued a slight jab to the WNBA for the difference between her facilities in Chicago and in Miami as she listed all the great features that she is currently using with questions marks at the end.

On X, Reese wrote with a crying and a heart emoji: “We get to workout, use the weight room, create new bonds/friendships, get treatment, get massages, use the sauna, getting two meals a day, and then a facial before I leave for the day? Yeah I love it here.”

Reese went on to promise that her WNBA team will get these amenities, that they do not have currently, in a way to lure free agents.

“Oh, and trust me, a lot of these things will be in Chicago this year as well,” Reese added.

Unrivaled kicks off with the first day of games featuring Angel Reese’s Rose Basketball who play Vinyl Basketball.
