The Genesis GV70 Is More Expensive for 2026

Science and TechnologyAutoThe Genesis GV70 Is More Expensive for 2026

Genesis updated the GV70 for 2026, refreshing the crossover’s exterior design and tweaking the interior. The new model is also more expensive to start, with an MSRP of $49,435 for the entry-level 2.5T AWD trim—an increase of $1,785. But one trim is actually cheaper than before.

The base price gets you a GV70 with a 300-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, paired to the brand’s eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. It has 19-inch wheels, wireless CarPlay, the model’s new 27-inch dash display, and dual-zone climate control. A step above that is the GV70 2.5T Select AWD, which adds aluminum trim, power-folding mirrors, and a wireless charger. It starts at $52,335.

Trim 2026 Price (w/ dest.) 2025 Price (w/ dest.)
GV70 2.5T AWD $49.435 $47,650
GV70 2.5T Select AWD $52,335 $50,650
GV70 2.5T Advanced AWD $56,885 $53,650
GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD $60,245 $59,550
GV70 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD $64,865 $66,650
GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD $71,515 $69,850

Those who want more power can upgrade to the GV70 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD. It has the brand’s twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine that makes 375 hp and 391 pound-feet of torque. It’s also cheaper than the 2025 variant, starting at $64,865.

With the top 2.5T Sport Prestige trim creeping up in price, Genesis eliminated the entry-level 3.5T Sport trim for 2026, lowering the price of the GV70 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD by $1,785 to fill that gap. The old 3.5T Sport started at $60,250. At the top of the lineup, the 3.5T Sport Prestige starts at $71,515.

Genesis says the 2026 GV70 will begin arriving at retailers “in the coming weeks.” There’s an all-electric version, too, but the brand hasn’t released pricing info yet.
