Julen Lopetegui is the odds on favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job following his West Ham side losing back to back games by scorelines of 5-0 and 4-1.
The defeats leave the Hammers 14th in the Premier League, just seven points above the relegation zone.
It’s thought now that it’s only a matter of time be the West Ham board relieve the former Spain and Real Madrid manager of his duties, with some sources even saying the decision to let the Spaniard go has been made, with the club already contacting potential replacements.
Graham Potter is the current 1/2 favourite to take over at the London Stadium following Lopetegui’s departure, the Englishman having been out of job since his sacking by Chelsea in April 2023.
The former Brighton manager has been linked with several big jobs, most notably the England one, since being leaving Stamford Bridge, but remains without a club heading into 2025.
The 49-year-old made a name for himself whilst managing Brighton, having taken over a side who had just finished 17th in their second ever Premier League season and lead the Seagulls to their first ever top flight top half finish in 2022.
Potter also started the season at Brighton in the season they achieved their record breaking season in which they finished sixth in 2023 and secured European football, but departed in September to secure a move to Chelsea.

The two men joint second in the odds list at 6/1 currently are Michael Carrick and David Moyes.
The latter would be a major shock to return to the London Stadium for a third spell as manager just over six months on from the expiration of his contract in east London, having managed the club for the previous four and a half years.
The 61-year-old has written himself in West Ham legend having delivered the club their first major trophy since in 43 years after lifting the Europa Conference League on a famous night in Prague back in 2023.
The Scotsman has been out of a managerial job since leaving West Ham last summer and it would be deemed a major surprise were the to re-sign with the club following Lopetegui’s potential departure.
Michael Carrick also has previous connections to West Ham having progressed through the club’s academy after signing as a teenager, going onto play 154 times for the east London side before securing a move to Tottenham.
The former Manchester United midfielder, who won five Premier League titles, four EFL Cups, an FA Cup and a Champions League as a player for the club, is currently the head coach of Middlesbrough, another side he represented back in his teenage years.
The 43-year-old currently has the Teesside club firmly in the mix of a play-off battle, and are an outside bet for promotion to the Premier League this season, and is thought of as one of the best young English managers in the football league currently.
Steve Cooper is another name being linked with the London Stadium and is now free agent after being sacked by Leicester back in November after just shy of five months in charge at the King Power.
The 45-year-old Welshman gained fame by leading England to U17 World Cup glory in 2017, and then earned promotion to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, ending a 17-year stint outside the top flight for one of the biggest clubs in England.
Cooper is priced at 8/1 to be the next West Ham manager, as is Edin Terzic, the man who led Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final last year, who spent more than two years as the Hammers’ assistant manager under Slaven Bilic.
