Cristiano Ronaldo’s football greatness is undeniable, but he hasn’t faced the whole journey alone.
He has had his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, by his side for the last eight years.
Their lives took a fateful turn one day when Ronaldo met Rodriguez by chance in Madrid.
In a heartfelt conversation with The Sun in 2019, she shared how their paths first crossed.
“Our first meeting was at Gucci, where I worked as a sales assistant,” she said, noting that it was a moment that ultimately changed her life forever.
“Days later, we saw each other again at another brand’s event.
“It was then that we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside my work environment. It was love at first sight for both.”
Since 2016, the 30-year-old Rodriguez has stood alongside Ronaldo, fully embracing the whirlwind of being with one of the most famous footballers in the world.
Yet, she has blossomed into a celebrity in her own right with a thriving modelling career, growing her social media following to an astounding 65million on Instagram, where she shares her passion for fashion and family.
Despite the glitz and glamour, she finds genuine happiness in her life with Ronaldo.
She told The Sun: “Being the partner of someone so famous is not easy but I would not change it for the world.
“What I feel for him is stronger than anything, any kind of pressure. Together we are stronger and there is a mutual admiration.”
The couple and their children live a lavish lifestyle now based in Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo has five children in total, two of whom are with Rodriguez.
The legend’s first child, Cristiano Jr, was born in 2010 and the identity of his mother has remained unknown.
He then had twins, Mateo and Eva, seven years later with the help of a surrogate mother.
Rodriguez and Ronaldo then announced that they were pregnant with their first child and in November 2017, Alana Martina was born.
The couple announced that they were expecting another set of twins in 2022.

However, tragedy struck as they felt the grief of losing their son alongside the birth of their youngest daughter.
They confirmed the awful news with a statement on social media at the time.
Despite the heartbreak, the family has continued striving, and with five children, you need plenty of room at home.
And it’s safe to say their home from Ronaldo’s second Manchester United spell had it.
The house radiated luxury, going on the market in October last year for around £5m.
Nestled in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, the stunning property spanned an impressive 23 acres and featured seven magnificently designed bedrooms.
It also had a leisure suite with an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and a jacuzzi.
The opulent interior included a cinema room and a wine cellar, while the grounds boasted a tennis court, a two-bedroom guest barn, and even a padel court.
Ronaldo spent just over a year back at Old Trafford before his contract was controversially terminated, leading him to embrace a new chapter with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
Influencer Rodriguez revealed during an episode of her reality show ‘I am Georgina,’ streamed on Netflix, that she was desperate to leave the area.
“When Cris told me he was going to play for Al-Nassr, I was so relieved because I really wanted to leave Manchester,” Rodriguez said.
She added: “I knew something big was waiting for us and we were highly motivated. I was happy to come to Saudi Arabia.”
Their lavish lifestyle continues in Saudi Arabia, with the family staying in a swanky £250,000-a-month hotel suite when they initially moved.
The 17-room suite was a temporary home before moving into their £10.5m mansion.
With their £10.5m mansion not quite ready, they situated themselves in the Four Seasons in capital city Riyadh.
Despite the eye-watering price, Ronaldo will have remained unfazed, considering he is being paid £173m-a-year at Al Nassr.
He and Rodriguez booked out two floors at the Kingdom Tower.
The family are thought to have moved out of the hotel in February 2023.
It is not yet clear where exactly Ronaldo is living, although his new home is believed to be in an exclusive compound with top-level security for him and his family and easy access to shops, restaurants, gyms and other amenities.
The family also enjoy holidays that spare no expenses.
After Euro 2024, Ronaldo and Rodriguez holidayed at the Red Sea Resort.
From motorised paddle boards, sunshine workouts and chilling in the sauna, the pair know how to kick back and enjoy their luxurious amenities.
Away from holidays and the football pitch, the couple even share time on Ronaldo’s record-breaking YouTube channel.
His channel boasts and impressive eight million subscribers and counting.
In a video posted in August last year, the 39-year-old may have inadvertently revealed that he and Rodriguez had secretly tied the knot.
He affectionately referred to her as his ‘wife,’ and they were spotted wearing rings on their ring fingers, perhaps signalling that they have taken that step.
Fans were quick to point out Ronaldo’s remark, as one X user posted: “So Cristiano Ronaldo is married to Georgina Rodriguez… They must have gotten married in secret.”
Another commented: “The way he calls her ‘my wife’ >>>.”
A third added: “Wow that’s amazing news.”
One then messaged: “Congratulations to him.”
Meanwhile, another simply stated: “MY GOAT IS MARRIED.”
With Ronaldo turning 40, it is truly remarkable to reflect on the incredible accomplishments he has achieved in just four decades, milestones that many could only dream of in their lifetime.
