Tom Brady knows more than most what it takes to win a Super Bowl.
Before the seven-time Super Bowl heads back to Arlington to work his first Thanksgiving game, the $375million FOX Sports analyst has the Detroit Lions leading the way as the team to beat.
Tom Brady’s Thanksgiving Power Rankings
After 12 weeks
1. Detroit Lions
2. Kansas City Chiefs
3. Buffalo Biils
4. Philadelphia Eagles
5. Minnesota Vikings
Brady has been dropping his weekly rankings through the season and the red hot Lions remain on top of his standings, thanks to yet more dominant play from their all action offense.
“The Lions are 10-1 for the first time since 1934!? That’s crazy!,” he said after the Lions stayed top after moving into No.1 in Week 12.
“Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, they continue to show why they’re the most dominant running back duo in the league.
“It’s not just offense. I’ve got to show love to Aaron Glenn and that Lions defence. They’ve gone 10 quarters without allowing a touchdown.”
Underneath Dan Campbell’s NFC favorites, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills are jostling for power and it’s Andy Reid‘s squad that have the edge.
That’s despite the Bills coming out on top when the teams went head -to-head in Western New York a couple of weeks ago.
Josh Allen‘s MVP-calibre performances drew a simple two word verdict from Brady who claimed six Super Bowls alongside Bill Belichick with the New England Patriots and another in Tampa Bay.
“They’ve been so good this year, they’ve got a six-game win streak.
“Josh Allen, yep, that’s him,” Brady said with a knowing pause.
“He’s got this offense going at nearly 30 points a game, and they’re coming off their bye week. So, Buffalo will look to stay undefeated at home when they host the 49ers on Sunday night.”

The Chiefs moved up to second after their tight win over the Carolina Panthers where Patrick Mahomes delivered in the clutch as he always done for the four-time Super Bowl champions.
Their 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers was tight with a messy fourth quarter but as Brady goes onto explain, the Chiefs found a way to win as always while praising star man Mahomes.
“They continue to find ways to get the job done… Patrick came up huge in the clutch with a great scramble late in the fourth quarter,” Brady said.
In his last power rankings the legendary QB turned analyst predicted that he expects Allen and Mahomes to meet again in the playoffs.
Allen has gotten the best of Mahomes during the regular season with a 4-1 record but when it comes to the post-season, the Chiefs have won all three of their last pre-season meetings.
“I’d be shocked if the Chiefs and the Bills don’t meet again in January,” Brady said on Instagram last week.
The Bills take on the Los Angles Rams next while the Chiefs have a chance to extract revenge.
They take on the Raiders who defeated the three-pear chasing champions at Arrowhead last season.
Meanwhile Brady will call the New York Giants against the Dallas Cowboys in his first holiday season game – and the prime time slot tends to be one of the most watched games on the NFL season.
