1. Kylian Mbappe to score against Atletico Madrid (Tue, 8pm)
Kylian Mbappe had a relatively slow start to life as a Galactico at Real Madrid by his lofty standards, but has since found his feet as the reigning European champions number nine, now with 27 goals in all competitions, a tally bettered by only Robert Lewandowski in La Liga.
The Frenchman has scored nine goals in his last 10 La Liga matches, including seven in his last seven, and scored four goals across two games against Manchester City in the knockout stage play-offs, including a hat trick in the second leg.
The 26-year-old scored in his only previous appearance against Atletico Madrid, bagging the equaliser in the 1-1 draw in the league the two sides played out last month.
2. Martin Odegaard to score against PSV (Tue, 8pm)
Arsenal’s attacking injury woes leaves Odegaard, their creative midfielder, their most experienced forward thinking player likely to start the match giving him increased responsibility in the attacking third for the Gunners’ first leg trip to Eindhoven.
The Norwegian has already scored in the Champions League this season, scoring the third in a 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates in January, also notably scoring the opener in last month’s 5-1 win over Manchester City.
The 26-year-old also found the net in his most recent start against Dutch side PSV, scoring the fourth in a 4-0 against the Eindhoven side at the Emirates in last season’s group stage, giving him fond memories of Tuesday night’s opponents.
3. Serhou Guirassy to score against Lille (Tue, 8pm)
Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane is the only Bundesliga player to have scored more goals in all competitions this season than Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy, who has scored 24 goals in 32 games since his summer transfer move from Stuttgart.
The Guinean striker is the Champions League’s leading goal scorer this season with 10 goals in as many games, including braces against Barcelona, Celtic and Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 28-year-old has scored five goals in his last two matches for Borussia Dortmund, scoring four in his last game at Westfalenstadion against Union Berlin 10 days ago.
