EntertainmentSports‘Major props’ – Liv Morgan reaction hailed by fans after WWE star suffers wardrobe malfunction at Royal Rumble

Wrestling fans hailed WWE star Liv Morgan as a leader in the women’s locker room for saving Lyra Valkyria from a wardrobe malfunction.

The two-time Women’s World Champion showed impressive quick-thinking to rescue the Dubliner from being exposed live on TV.

The pair were both competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble at the Lucas Oil Stadium – with Morgan starting as the No2 entrant.

Irish star Valkyria, who is the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion, soon followed suit by debuting two spots later.

However, just minutes into her arrival, the 28-year-old was soon battling to maintain control of her ring gear as well as her fellow pros.

Valkyria valiantly tried to fight on as her top straps came undone around her neck as she attempted to dump Iyo Sky over the ropes.

Morgan, who had been playing possum on the floor across the ring, spotted the problem and came up with an instant solution.

Despite playing a heel character (bad guy), the Judgment Day member dropkicked Valkyria over to the far corner away from the Rumble action so her babyface rival (good guy) could have the time and space to fix her wardrobe.

Morgan then focused her attention on the other two stars in the match, with WWE cameras doing their part in staying off Valkyria.

Her efforts didn’t go unnoticed on social media, with one fan posting on X: “Broke character immediately to help out her sista. Major props.”

Another commented: “It’s so funny because she broke character but at the same time didn’t …but we all know why she did that.

“She’s definitely going to be a locker leader for the younger generation!”

A third wrote: “Liv Morgan is SO REAL for giving Lyra Valkyria a chance to fix her top.”

A fourth continued: “Liv Morgan pushing Lyra Valkyria to the side since she had a wardrobe malfunction, what a legend.”

Off-camera WWE employees ultimately helped Valkyria fix the wardrobe malfunction which allowed her to continue the match.

The former one-time NXT Women’s Champion was eventually second eliminated by Ivy Nile, while Morgan lasted over an hour.

The latter was ultimately turfed out by Nia Jax, who herself fell short to overall winner Charlotte Flair.

The daughter of WWE icon Ric had made a triumphant return following over 700 days out of action with an ACL injury.
