Mike Davis and Fares Ziam were covered in blood by the end of their gruelling fight.
The pair opened up the UFC Saudi Arabia main card in an exciting lightweight clash, which left fans stunned.
Both men entered the contest on lengthy winning streaks and laid it all on the line for the capacity crowd at the Anb Arena in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
Davis looked to get the fight down to the ground early doors and was sliced open by a big knee from Ziam for his efforts.
Ziam then dumped Davis to the canvas whilst the claret began to pour.
By the end of the grappling exchange, both fighters were painted in Davis’ blood as fans watched on in horror.
Reacting to the grisly scenes, one supporter wrote: “It looks like something out of a horror movie.”
Another added: “Wow! That is a lot of blood.”
A third posted: “Bleed baby bleed!”
A fourth messaged: “Too much blood. Davis is tough to hang on like that after the bad cut and his opponent is so flexible.”
Meanwhile, somebody else remarked: “Davis vs Ziam is disgusting.”
Later on in the fight, Ziam picked up a nick of his own above his right eye, adding to the bloodshed.

The Frenchman’s white shorts had almost completely turned red by the end of the contest, which all three judges scored in his favour by margins of 30-27.
Speaking after his victory ‘The Smile Killer’ said: “I won but I am very tired.
“I knew my opponent was tough but I didn’t know how tough.
“Now I know. This cut on my head is my first cut in my professional career, but I am OK.”
And it wasn’t just a cut Ziam fought through.
“I know he is a black belt in jiu-jitsu, but I had to take him down because I think I have broken my left hand,” he added.
