Lamine Yamal produced a stunning piece of dribbling during Barcelona’s win over Alaves.
The winger evaded six opposition players as he attempted a record number of dribbles on Sunday.
Yamal’s exploits saw him equal a feat achieved by Lionel Messi 17 years ago as he continues to shine for Hansi Flick’s side.
Barca won 1-0 at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s second half strike.
However, it was Yamal who stole the show by completing 10 of his 20 attempted dribbles.
In doing so, he became only the second Barca player to attempt as many dribbles in a single league match since such statistics were first recorded in the 2005/06 season.
Messi is the only other player to do so, having also completed 10 from 20 dribbles against Mallorca in April 2007.
Of Yamal’s 10 dribbles, one saw him take the ball past more than half of the Alaves team.
After collecting the ball in his own half, the 17-year-old drove over the halfway line.
He brushed off several challenges as well as leaving one defender on the floor before switching the ball out to the left flank.
Yamal’s standout performance comes as he continues another impressive season off the back of winning the Euros with Spain.
Despite not scoring against Alaves, the teenager has already scored 10 times in 29 appearances across all competitions this term.
The Spaniard has also provided 15 assists for his team-mates in those matches.
Barca’s latest win sees them cut the gap to league leaders Real Madrid to four points.
They remain in third place, though, three points behind Atletico Madrid in second.
However, Sunday’s victory was overshadowed by an injury to Gavi, who was forced off after a sickening clash of heads.
