Back-to-back Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs enter the NFL Playoffs this Saturday night as they face the Houston Texans.
Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and co clinched the AFC’s No.1 seed for the ninth straight season in December, granting them a bye on Wild Card Weekend.
It means they’ve had some extra rest ahead of getting their playoff campaign underway against CJ Stroud’s Texans.
Stroud led his team to a 32-12 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in the opening round of the postseason.
It doesn’t get much tougher than facing the Chiefs though, as they only lost two games during the year, with one of those being with a fully rotated team.
Mahomes’ men are going to be putting all of their efforts into making history and winning a third consecutive Super Bowl title, but there’s still a long way to go.

Chiefs vs Texans: Team news
The Chiefs will be led by Mahomes at QB while they are boosted by the return of three questionable players.
Chris Jones, Jawaan Taylor and Isiah Pacheco had been out but they all returned to the training field late last week.
Cornerback Jaylen Watson has been out since Week 6 of the season, however, he could return in time to feature.
As for Stroud’s Texans, Shaq Mason is questionable for the game while tight end Teagan Quitoriano could miss out too.
Tank Dell suffered a horror knee injury against the Chiefs last month and won’t be featuring in any of the playoff games.
Fellow wide receiver Stefon Diggs is sidelined too after his ACL injury.
Chiefs vs Texans: What has been said?
Kelce has piled the praise onto superstar teammate Mahomes, complimenting him on his growth throughout the NFL season after some tough moments.
The pair will be aiming to combine yet again to help their team reach the Super Bowl.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, the Chiefs tight end said: “Well, I’ve seen him weather the storm; everybody’s mentioning the protection and who we’ve had up front.
“I think we figured that puzzle out, and on top of that, I’ve seen Pat weather that storm and become better because of it.”
“I think when the team needs him the most, he steps up in ways he hasn’t before.
“It happens year in, year out, and it’s just so much fun to be a part of the team with him because he’s always going to take the bull by the horns and be the most accountable, be the one that puts it on himself more than he puts it on anybody else.
“That’s true leadership, right there.”
