She also won silver at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The Dutch athlete will be hoping to go one better at the 2026 Games in Milan and Cortina d’Amoezzo.

Paul will likely be cheering on her Olympic bid again having often been spotted in the stands.

He was photographed at a World Cup qualifying event in the Netherlands last year.

The couple have regularly supported each other’s sporting careers during their relationship.

Paul and Leerdam first went public with their romance in March 2023.

Meanwhile, the speed skater was in attendance for Paul’s most recent boxing fight; the 27-year-old facing former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson in Texas last month.

Leerdam sat ringside as her boyfriend secured a unanimous decision victory after eight rounds.

The win leaves Paul with a professional record of 11-1 in the ring, including seven victories by knockout.
