Ryan Garcia has vowed to ‘end’ Jake Paul’s boxing career after ‘giving birth to it’ by introducing the YouTuber to the sport.

Garcia is currently serving a suspension from professional boxing for his three positive drug test taken around his last outing against Devin Haney in April.

‘King Ry’ was initially declared the victor via unanimous decision in a fight that saw him drop Haney thrice.

However, the result has since been overturned to a no-contest on both boxer’s records.

Garcia remains under suspension until April 2025 but is pursuing an exhibition bout with Anpo in Japan as payback for Anpo ‘beating up’ Manny Pacquiao during a non-scoring contest in July.

He also intends to exact the same vengeance on Paul on behalf of Mike Tyson after watching the 58-year-old lose a sad eight-round fight to the ex-Disney star earlier this month.

“We’re cool, we’re cool for sure, but he was trying to beat up on old Uncle Mike,” Garcia said of Paul during a recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show.

“Like I said, the same way I feel about Manny Pacquiao, I feel about this.

“We said we would run it one day. He came to my gym a long time ago in Victorville, then he came to visit me with the Canelo (Alvarez) camp — this is before he boxed.

“I kinda like gave birth to his boxing career, and I’m here to end it. That’s it.”

A Garcia vs Paul fight is unlikely to be sanctioned as a professional contest due to the disparity in weight.

Garcia’s next fight with Anpo is at a 153lbs catchweight while Paul is a full-blown cruiserweight (200lbs) who tipped the scales at 227lbs for his last outing against ‘Iron Mike’.

But Garcia believes he’s worked out a weight that would be fair for both boxers.

“If I fought Jake Paul, probably like 185 [would be a fair weight],” he added.

“I’m 165, 170 [right now]. I would have to eat a lot…

“If Jake fights the way he fought with Mike, I genuinely believe I would knock him out within four (or) five rounds.”

It wouldn’t be the first time two fighters have fought at drastically different weights.

In July 2021, Jake’s brother Logan Paul weighed in at 189.5lbs for an exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather, who came in at 155lbs.

Outside of Paul, Garcia also called for rematches with Haney and Gervonta Davis as well as a crossover clash with former UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley.

Davis handed Garcia the first, and to date, the only defeat of his professional career in 2023 while he has been embroiled in a playful feud with O’Malley for some time.
