Salt Papi viciously knocked out King Kenny in their co-main event bout on Misfits’ Qatar Super Card.
The pair put so much on the line going into their light-heavyweight bout on Thursday night in Doha.
Salt Papi had established himself as a Misfits regular after overcoming Dawood Savage in his last bout, meanwhile Kenny recently beat Adam Brooks after his lacklustre defeat Anthony Taylor in 2023.
There was a clear difference in strength in the opening rounds as 27-year-old Kenny launched Salt Papi across the ring.
However, the Filipino, 30, came out strong in round three and really took the fight to his English counterpart.
Salt Papi sized up his opponent as he looked for the knockout and was accurately timing Kenny before the pair entered the clinch.
All of a sudden, Salt Papi caught Kenny with a brutal left uppercut that sent the Buckinghamshire man crashing to the canvas.
The knockout was so wild that the crowd in Doha erupted as Kenny stumbled to the floor and the fight was over after three rounds.
After the fight, Misfits co-owner KSI had plenty of praise for Papi.
“That’s knockout of the night,” he said. “Give him anyone at this point, because God damn I think he just shook everyone.
“I’ve never seen King Kenny get dropped like that. That was outrageous – Salt Papi is back ladies and gentlemen.
“It’s so good to see, man. I know Salt Papi has worked hard and this was the best King Kenny I’ve ever seen.”
Salt Papi made his future intentions within Misfits very clear after the bout.
“I thought he was going to take me to six rounds,” he said.
“I was really hoping we were going to get to six rounds, but three rounds was all I needed.
“I’ve been working on different styles in the part and just put different things together.
“[What’s next?] More knockouts… Slim, Gib, whoever Mams [Taylor] wants to give me I’ll take it.”
AnEsonGib challenged Slim Albaher in the main event of the Misfits Qatar Super Card.
