The Fox Sports studio was packed with New England Patriots legends on Sunday.
Tom Brady was joined by former teammates Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman to discuss the action.
They decided to roll back the years and recreate the greatest QB-TE combination of all time live on air.
Legendary defensive end Michael Strahan was brought in to try and cover Gronk.
But like many linebackers of old, he was given the slip as Brady found his old friend.
Gronkowski pretended to go long before cutting back and leaving Strahan grasping for air.
But the popular broadcaster was left wishing that there were officials monitoring the play.
“Push,” he yelled as the studio cheered on Gronk.
Strahan then grabbed the former tight end and playfully threw him away.
“Right at the hip,” Gronkowski posted on X in response to the clip.
“Got real there for a second,” joked one fan.
“This makes the Fox contract worth it,” added another in reference to Brady’s $375million deal.
“They still have it! The Pats need them,” a third wrote.
Brady and Gronk won three Super Bowls in New England before adding another with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Their relationship yielded 620 catches for 9,275 yards and 93 touchdowns in 141 games.
Brady recently told LIV Tour star Bryson Dechambeau that old foe Peyton Manning taught him the play that unlocked his fearsome partnership.
“I met with Peyton Manning once,” he said on the golfer’s Break 50 series.
“We were like, ‘How do we get better?’ Because we got older and we are in the same systems.
“So we met for like three days down in Tennessee in 2010. And I learned a play that he used to run a lot. And I didn’t know how to run it.
“He taught me the play, we ended up installing the play in our offense. And we got Rob Gronkowski.
“It ended up probably half of Gronk’s receiving yards were on this concept. I swear to God. Obviously Gronk’s an absolute beast.
“I’m like, ‘Thanks, Peyton.’ And Peyton’s like, ‘I can’t believe you guys took the play.’”
