Fulham vs Ipswich predictions
It’s really difficult to imagine anything other than a draw or a Fulham victory.
Ipswich are technically in their best form yet with two wins in their last four Premier League encounters.
But Fulham have proven difficult to beat recently, going unbeaten in December across the busy festive period too.
They picked up not only crucial points but points from games that have a much bigger impact going forward as they drew to Arsenal and Liverpool, before going on to win against Chelsea.
Their form against the top four is great and minus a 4-1 blip against Wolves, have been consistent.
They were close to winning 2-1 for the second successive game but Bournemouth found a late equaliser to share the points yet again, as Fulham saw their fourth draw in just five games.
They won’t want to settle for a draw now though.
Fulham vs Ipswich betting tips
When Fulham do win it’s not often by much so despite having only lost four all season their goal difference stands at 3.
This could be crucial when looking at the end of the season as if they do make up ground with the likes of Newcastle, Man City and Bournemouth, they will be hoping it doesn’t come down to their poorer goal difference.
Ipswich have conceded as many as 33 goals this season and only scored 18, which is just under one goal per game.
Given Fulham’s defensive record coming into this holding top scoring teams to draws and even winning on occasion, they could runaway with this match in convincing fashion by at the very least two goals.
A win would make their unbeaten run stretch and continue to put the pressure on Bournemouth, City and Newcastle who sit a point above each other.
Antonee Robinson has been a crucial part of Fulham’s successes in recent seasons and has already got seven assists to his name this year, beating last year’s tally of six, within half the time.
The goals are largely shared between a few players for Fulham with; Raul Jimenez scoring six, Alex Iwobi and Harry Wilson on five, and Rodrigo Muniz and Emile Smith Rowe on three.
- Fulham to win, Iwobi to score – 7/2 on Betfred
- Fulham to win, Robinson to assist – 5/1 on Bet365
