Floyd Mayweather continues to live up to his ‘money’ moniker with his latest purchase.
During an illustrious professional boxing career stretching from 1996 to 2017, Mayweather amassed an estimated $1.2billion over the course of 50 fights (50-0).
He is well clear of his contemporaries as the highest-paid boxer of all time and continues to earn money-spinning paydays in exhibition bouts against MMA fighters, reality television stars and everything in between.
Mayweather isn’t shy about flaunting his cash, in fact, it has become part of his personality.
‘TBE’ lives a luxury lifestyle with mansions, supercars and private jets.
And he has no intention of slowing down any time soon.
One of his favourite purchases to make is watches.
Mayweather boasts an extensive watch collection worth an estimated $100m that includes high-end brands such as Rolex, Richard Mille, and Audemars Piguet.
His collection comes complete with custom watches, collaboration pieces, and a watch set with 945 gemstones.
‘TBE’s’ most recent extravagant acquisition is a Rolex Daytona ‘Eye of The Tiger’ chronograph that he shelled $400,000 on.
The rare timepiece’s bezel is set with 36 trapeze-cut diamonds, while the lacquered black dial is also paved with diamonds.
The Arabic numerals 15, 30, and 45 are made of yellow gold, as is the Rolex coronet, while the remaining hour markers are set with diamonds.

A short video of Mayweather showing off the watch that he bought from New York jeweller ‘Benny The Jeweler’ was uploaded to the shopkeeper’s Instagram.
“The money man is back,” said Mayweather.
“I’m here in New York City with the one and only Benny the Jeweler. Benny, tell the people what you sold me today.”
Benny responded: “Ok, we got the Eye of the Tiger factory on a full pavet bracelet.
“We got the white tag with it too… You know what is going on out here.
“Big money out here, big factory out here and we got more s*** on the way.”

Mayweather’s latest spending spree comes five months after he dropped $1m on a four-piece Avi & Co Hue set.
In doing so, the 47-year-old became the first person in the world to own all four gemstone-encrusted watches in the four different colours on offer (blue, pink, green, and red).
It is reported that Mayweather couldn’t choose between the colours, so elected to buy all four in the hope that he could wear them on rotation.
