Terry Bradshaw has been hosting NFL on Fox for 31 years.

The iconic broadcaster has become synonymous with Sundays, beaming into millions of living rooms every week during the season.

With an average of 4,415,000 viewers this year, Fox NFL Sunday is celebrating being the most-watched pre-game show in every year since its debut in 1994.

Incredible throwback footage of a young(ish) Bradshaw hosting the first-ever broadcast has emerged.

And while things might be a little more polished when Fox previews the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers for their Wild Card game, what is really remarkable is how little has changed.

It begins with a 45-year-old Bradshaw looking sharp in a grey suit, jazzy tie, and suspenders as he strolls into the studio from backstage while giving a high-octane intro.

“I forgot how energetic TB used to be,” commented one fan on the viral clip.

The four-time Super Bowl champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers – now 76 – was already sporting his trademark hair cut as he introduced the “crack research team”.

They were all using computers that wouldn’t fit in the trunk of some cars let alone a laptop bag.

James Brown, who has since returned to CBS, was the first co-host to get a warm-introduction.

Howie Long is next up, described as an ‘old rookie talent’ by a beaming Bradshaw.

Sporting a stylish brown jacket, spectacles, and hearty tan, his appearance caused viewers to double-take.

“Howie Long hasn’t aged,” noted one.

“Howie looks the same,” added a second.

Ex-Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson, who like Bradshaw and 65-year-old Long can still be found on Fox’s coverage, is the final introduction.

It is amazing that the lineup has changed so little in over three decades and speaks to how well put together Fox’s show was.

Love them or hate them – and there are many in both camps – the personalities have shaped football coverage for years.

Johnson is ten years older than Bradshaw at 86 years old.

“Terry, Howie & I started 31 years ago….been a GREAT RUN!” he wrote at the end of the regular season.

Fans are desperate for him to roll it back with his old pals next season.

“I look forward to years to come watching you guys,” said one.

“Only show I’ve watched since I was a kid!! Keep it rolling,” wrote another.

“31 years strong, and the big game in the big easy is one month away,” commented a third.

“These were the best days to watch this show,” a fourth posted – pining back to the 1990s.
