Paul fancies his chances in a fight with lightweight world champion Davis[/caption]
When rapper T.I. brought up the prospect of a bout between Paul and WBA lightweight champion Davis, the YouTube sensation offered a damning verdict.
“Size matters, unfortunately,” Paul said.
“I don’t give a a f*** how good you are. I learned it when I fought Floyd [Mayweather Jr], size matters.
“I would f****** kill Gervonta. Gervonta, you’re a great fighter, but stay in your lane and weight class.”
Paul enjoys a significant height advantage, given he stands at 6ft 2ins in while the man dubbed ‘Tank’ is just 5ft 5ins.
As for weight, Paul is listed on BoxRec as a cruiserweight (200lbs).
The heaviest Davis has ever fought is super lightweight (140lbs).
However, Davis boasts one of the most fearsome knockout ratios among active professionals in boxing.
The Baltimore native holds an unblemished record of 30-0, with only two of his victories going to the scorecards.
It’s why several boxing enthusiasts on X believe Paul may have bitten off more than he can chew by making such a claim against Davis.

One fan wrote: “Bro playing with lava.”
Another posted: “This dude cannot be serious.”
Paul was also labelled by one user as ‘delusional’.
Davis is yet to respond to Paul’s bold statement.
It’s also not the first time Davis has had an issue with one of the famous Paul brothers.
Davis had some choice words for Logan’s younger brother Jake after he beat a 58-year-old Mike Tyson last November.

“To the bozo that shared the ring with Mike, you a whole bozo for this and you didn’t get the job done s***head,” Davis wrote on Instagram.
Davis added a separate tribute to Tyson.
“You will always be a boxing legend, whether you like it or not,” Davis said.
“There will never be another one and I understand you so well.
“All this s*** that is happening now means nothing.”
Davis even teased a potential fight against the younger Paul in the future, stating he would ‘beat the brakes off of him’.
