Bournemouth vs Liverpool prediction
Liverpool won’t be too concerned after a tough European away day against PSV.
They lost 3-2 in a game that had a little bit of everything mostly in the first half.
But Liverpool had a much changed starting XI suggesting that Arne Slot was resting his key players ahead of the Premier League this weekend and a crucial semi-final in the League Cup next week against Tottenham.
Andrew Robertson was a makeshift centre-back replacing Virgil van Dijk, among three changes to the back four along with Caoimhin Kelleher coming in to replace Alisson in goal.
In midfield Ryan Gravenberch who was in the lineup against Ipswich alongside Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, who were also absent in the Netherlands.
Liverpool also went without Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz but opted to keep Cody Gakpo, who scored his third goal in two appearances for the Reds.
I’d expect a strong starting lineup for the Reds this time and though Bournemouth are absolutely flying this season, could be up against it facing a fresh strong Liverpool side.
That said, there could be a few goals in this just like there were at the Phillips Stadion on Wednesday night.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool betting tips
Justin Kluivert has often hinted to being a prominent goalscorer from midfield but didn’t quite back it up last season with seven goals in 32 appearances and only one assist.
But he’s eclipsed that this season which include not one but two hat-tricks.
Antoine Semenyo has scored seven goals already this season just one off his tally from all of last season and continues to be impressive this term, with a strong presence in midfield.
Their players improving has seen the Cherries up to seventh place now and they should at least get some shots on target in this clash.
Ryan Christie has picked up as many as eight yellow cards this season, the joint third most carded player in the league only behind Flynn Downes and Sasa Lukic who have both picked up nine.
