Lewis Hamilton is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to land a record eighth Formula 1 world title.

The British driver appears more ready than ever ahead of the 2025 season, and his first with Ferrari.

The 40-year-old is bracing himself for an exciting debut season with Ferrari

Hamilton, who signed a £50million-a-year deal with the Italian team, has always prioritised his fitness but now the 40-year-old has stepped up his regime as he prepares for his Ferrari debut in Melbourne next month.

And by the looks of things, Hamilton will be in optimal shape going into the first race of the season thanks to a spate of gruelling 4am training sessions.

Hoping to steal a march on the competition, Hamilton has also teamed up with activewear brand Lululemon as its new brand ambassador.

In an announcement video on Instagram, Hamilton is draped in the company’s clothing while putting himself to the test.

Pushing the limits like never before, the ex-Mercedes man is seen doing a succession of drills including skipping, core work and plyometric jumps before testing himself on the weight sled and battle ropes.

The video concludes with Hamilton breathing heavily alongside the caption: “No holding back.”

If the clip is anything to go by, then it appears that Hamilton is hell-bent on dethroning reigning champion Max Verstappen.

And that means carefully watching his diet and pulling back on one of his favourite dishes – Pizza.

“Oh God. I’ve eaten so many pizzas in the last few weeks,’ he said. ‘But funnily enough, I’ve lost weight.

“Last week alone I had three pizzas. I love Italian food. Penne a la Arrabiata is still my absolute favorite dish.”

“I have to watch my diet,” Hamilton continued. “But that will be difficult.

“I have to be careful and I can’t eat pizza all year round. Otherwise I won’t fit in the car anymore.”

And not just the car but also his new plush activewear by Lululemon, a brand he was left surprised by.

“I didn’t actually know they were doing men’s,” he said. “Obviously, there were women that I’d met who would just be raving about Lululemon – I was like, ‘Uh, I can’t wear the leggings!’”

“I’m looking for that extra one per cent,” Hamilton told GQ about his new partnership with Lululemon.

“Honestly, running, being in the gym [with] the weight, the feel of the fabric, it’s so rich. Feel is everything.

“When it comes to all the fabrics that I work with – when I’m designing clothes for example – the material is very, very important for me. There’s some brands I just can’t wear because it’s itchy.

“The silhouette is very important,” he said. “I love colour matching things; you want to look good when you go somewhere to work out.”

Hamilton is one of the most recognisable names in Formula 1 history and has the stats to back it up.

He holds the record number of victories, podium finishes and pole positions and is eyeing up an unprecedented eighth world title and his first since 2020.
