Jason Kelce has admitted that he had a ‘terrible’ experience at this year’s Super Bowl.
The retired NFL legend watched his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the expense of his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
In a very emotional podcast appearance, Jason has since admitted that he has struggled to deal with the unfair criticism over his split loyalties, with some fans even suggesting he wasn’t ‘rooting for his brother’ to win.
The days following Super Bowl LIX have been tough for both Kelce brothers – and it’s been a far cry from the feeling they had 12 months ago.
Back in February 2024, the Chiefs were triumphant against the San Francisco 49ers to secure their second straight Super Bowl title in Las Vegas.
Travis played a massive part in their success, with a team-high 93 receiving yards in the big game.
He was also arguably the most famous player on the field, thanks to his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs – and Kelce – were on top of the world that night, and they celebrated in iconic fashion.
Kansas City stars partied long into the night as they basked in Super Bowl glory, and a lot of their antics went viral thanks to the presence of the world’s biggest music star.
Travis and Taylor were at the centre of the celebrations, and as they painted Vegas red, they were joined by Jason.
Clearly enjoying life after NFL retirement, he was spotted wearing Chiefs overalls and a Luchador mask as he partied the night away alongside his brother.
At one point, Travis was seen giving his jacket to Swift, proving himself a perfect gentleman.
Jason, meanwhile, was stumbling around behind them, and almost fell into a nearby bush.
Most of the time, all the attention is on Swift and her boyfriend.
But on this occasion, it was Jason’s antics that stole the spotlight, with fans absolutely loving how much fun he was having.
“Drunk Jason in the back is sending me,” one person wrote, responding to the viral clip.
“Lmao, Jason looks hammered to within an inch of his life,” another said.

“Y’all are watching Trav and Taylor, I’m watching Jason Kelce nearly fall face first into the bushes,” a third wrote.
“LOVE them all,” a fourth said.
Jason discussed his viral antics a few days after the party – presumably once he had shaken off the hangover.
“It really didn’t start getting to the next level until I found that Luchador mask,” he told Travis on their New Heights podcast.
“When I first got there, you were trying to get me on stage with you and I was like, ‘Nah I’m gonna be over here, this is your time’. But something about finding that Luchador mask really transformed that night.
“It was insane.”
