Amongst them was Michael van Gerwen, who Littler beat in the PDC World Darts Championship final last month.

In doing so, the teenager became the sport’s youngest ever world champion at just 17.

Having since turned 18, Littler appeared on the Huw Ware podcast and discussed the sport’s greatest ever players.

Asked for his darts Mount Rushmore, he explained: “As a fan, obviously, Phil Taylor is at the top. Michael van Gerwen is two.

“Raymond van Barneveld is three. I’ll say Adrian Lewis. From what I’ve watched.”

The quartet have won a combined 26 world titles between them, with Taylor winning 16 of them.

Meanwhile, Van Barneveld has five to compatriot Van Gerwen’s three.

And Lewis, who is currently without a PDC Tour card, is a two-time world champion.

Jackpot announced he was taking a break from the sport in 2023 but is set to return to the oche on the MODUS Super Series this year.

The 40-year-old is a four-time PDC major winner with a European Championship and UK Open to go with his two Alexandra Palace victories.

As for Littler, he revealed how he celebrated turning 18 in January less than three weeks after beating Van Gerwen to win the world title.

The teen sensation added: “Very good. Just went bowling with my friends. Just played a few games of bowling, a few games of pool and then went home. I pre-planned it.

“Obviously, it was a Tuesday, so it was a half-priced drinks.

“A week before, I went in to the ten pin and I said, ‘can we get birthday at 8 o’clock?’ And then there was like two-end lanes.

“So I said, ‘I want the end two lanes for 8pm’. They sorted it out. We were out of the way.”

Littler and Van Gerwen have already renewed their rivalry since meeting at Ally Pally.

The pair faced off in the quarter-finals at night one of the Premier League Darts in Belfast last week.

Van Gerwen got his revenge in their first clash since Littler’s historic final victory.

The match was also his first as defending Premier League champion after lifting the trophy on debut last year.

Littler could come up against Van Gerwen again in Glasgow this Thursday if both players reach the semi-finals.
