‘Terrible guy’ – Dominik Mysterio offers insane advice to Triple H ahead of Royal Rumble after roasting dad

EntertainmentSports‘Terrible guy’ – Dominik Mysterio offers insane advice to Triple H ahead of Royal Rumble after roasting dad

Dominik Mysterio rarely thinks twice about opening his mouth, even when it comes to offering advice to his WWE boss Triple H.

The Game and soon-to-be two-time Hall of Famer, now effectively running the on-screen ship at WWE under his real name, Paul Levesque, is a busy man indeed head into Saturday’s Royal Rumble.

He’s busy piecing together, for instance, the 30-man Rumble match that will likely headline Saturday’s epic show in Indianapolis, and in which Mysterio will feature as he bids for glory at WrestleMania later in the year.

Quite how the King of Kings might feel about being given style and grooming advice from the cocksure and brash youngster doesn’t bare thinking about but, during an exclusive chat with talkSPORT ahead of a major weekend of action, that’s exactly what ‘Dirty Dom’ opted to do.

It started, as it so often does, with Dom bigging himself up and putting his dad, iconic wrestling legend Rey Mysterio, down. The pair haven’t seen eye to eye on screen in WWE since son turned his back on father at Clash at the Castle in Wales three years ago.

Bigging up his own appearance with a brag of how he conditions his wonderful flowing mane of hair, he hit back at a suggestion from talkSPORT’s Jon Jackson that, in doing so, he was effectively giving praise tohis dad for the genetics of it all.

Not so, insisted the 27-year-old, who blasted of his father: “Dude wears a mask because he’s ugly, right? He has no hair. He shaved his head when he was what, 21? S*** never grew back.

“I shaved my head when I was like what, 22? People didn’t see this, but I shaved my head and it grew back, I grew a beautiful mullet. So, I mean, I don’t have any… Yeah, I think he’s a deadbeat. He’s a terrible guy.”

Hair, perhaps unsurprisingly, is a favourite subject of the younger Mysterio. Later in the chat he was pressed on the induction of Triple H as a solo star into the WWE Hall of Fame at WrestleMania weekend.

The grappler cheerily admitted his rapport with The Game might just be because of how marvellous he’d look if he followed suit and grew his hair back.

“I feel like I’ve got a good relationship with The Boss… he had good hair back in the day. I could be totally wrong, but I feel like if he chose to grow his hair out, it would come back a little luscious.

“But yeah, I’ve got a good relationship with him. He’s the one that gave me the heads up on my entrance for WrestleMania 39 in LA, so that was pretty cool.”

It seems unlikely Triple H has a yearning to reach for the shampoo again anytime soon
