Mike Tyson has already splashed out big after earning $20million for his fight with Jake Paul.
The heavyweight legend made a stunning full professional return at the age of 58, where he was beaten by YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in November.
But despite the defeat, it was a hugely successful commercial event with a record-breaking 108 million live viewers tuning in to watch Tyson’s comeback.
It also generated huge revenue and saw Tyson paid a mammoth $20m for the eight-round clash, which will have certainly softened the blow of a seventh professional defeat.
Tyson’s fortune from the sport is now being restored after famously losing it all and declaring bankruptcy in 2003.
And now the boxing icon has decided to spend big again after a new phase of financial security.
It has been reported by Palm Beach Coast that Tyson has now splashed out on a huge $13m property to rewards himself.
The property is located in the Delray Beach area in the US as part of the exclusive estate Tierra Del Rey.
A warranty was filed on Monday which indicated the purchase, and is a sign that Tyson is back on track.
All in all, the property is based over 2.7 acres, has a lake and will also be purchased in the name of wife Lakiha.
Joseph Schneider represented the Tyson family in the purchase, and released a statement.
It read: “This has been a successful transaction with all the parties demonstrating professionalism and collaboration.
“The Tyson family has been a valued client and friend for many years and it’s been a pleasure working with them.”
It appears that Tyson could well now be settling down into retirement, having already put his health at risk in his clash with Paul.
He did suggest at the final bell that he could be open to fighting Paul’s brother Logan.
But now he finally appears to have turned his back on the sport for good, after a stellar time as a heavyweight superstar.
Worryingly the veteran revealed quite how damaging the fight was for his health, but insists he had no regrets after lacing his gloves up again.
“This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for last night,” he said.

“No regrets to get in ring one last time. I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions.
“Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won.
“To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you.”
