Patrick Mahomes loves to talk about his dad bod.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is also a devoted father who recently added a new child to his growing family.
Just as Kansas City is ramping up its effort to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls, Mahomes found a brilliant way to bring his two biggest loves together.
Football and family.
Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, recently gave birth to the family’s third child.
A daughter named Golden Raye joined three-year-old daughter Sterling and two-year-old son Bronze in the Mahomes family.
“Golden Raye Mahomes 1/12/25,” Brittany posted on Instagram.
“Impeccable timing,” one fan replied congratulating the pair.
Mahomes had even better timing as the Chiefs were waiting to learn their AFC Divisional Round opponent.
The three-time Super Bowl winner revealed he found a way to find the NFL playoffs on TV, just as Brittany was preparing to give birth to a new child.
“It was cool that football was on TV when I was in the hospital,” Mahomes said.

“Brittany was kind enough to let us watch football as she was getting ready to give birth.”
For many NFL fans, that immediately made Brittany the coolest mom and wife of all-time.
“Brittany for the win again!” one fan posted.
It also gave Chiefs supporters a new level of understanding as to just how dedicated Mahomes is to his profession.
“That’s DEDICATION!!!” a fan tweeted.
“That’s some commitment,” a second fan wrote.
“It is no surprise his entire life is about football,” a third fan said.
“LOL the GOAT got to keep up,” a fourth fan posted.
Travis Kelce, Andy Reid and Mahomes will begin their postseason journey on Saturday with a home game against C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans.
The Chiefs are among the favorites to win the big game this year.
Super Bowl LIX will be played on Sunday, February 9 in New Orleans at the Superdome.
