Having played in the World Championship previously in 2006, Bulen was looking to earn his way back on the tour, and had been doing a good job thus far.

It was expected that the Belgian would qualify for the final phase after earning enough points from his early displays at the busy oche.

But reports from Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad claim that he will play no further part in the qualifying competition, after being suspended.

It is alleged that he ‘misbehaved’ after falling to a frustrating 6-4 defeat against Dmitriy Zhukov.

Bulen raced into a 4-3 lead before his rival made a turnaround and grabbed the initiative at 5-4.

And in the deciding leg, the veteran needed something to keep his hopes alive on the day.

But he was beaten and his hopes of progressing that day which led to a remarkable outburst according to reports.

It is claimed he first used an obscene gesture before labelling the PDC ‘a cancer’ before ‘kicking chairs’ around the room as things became seriously heated.

Tension spilled over and now his chances of securing a permanent spot on the PDC tour for 2025 and 2026 have been dashed.

Bulen will not have a tour card for the upcoming year in darts

Bulen has yet to comment publicly, but has notably been removed from today’s order of play.

The European instalment of Q-school will progress nonetheless as players continue to battle for their chance to find their name on the famous roster.

Viktor Tingstrom earned the first tour card of the year in the European Q-school in the opening day of the final stage.

German star Kai Gotthardt sealed the second instant tour card on Friday with a dominant run on day two.

The likes of Jeffrey De Zwaan, Max Hopp and Boris Krcmar will compete on the final day for the chance to earn their place back on tour.

In the UK Q-school event, Tom Bissell earned a tour card and will make his first appearance on the tour after being victorious in Milton Keynes.

On Friday, Justin Hood earned the second card by moving to the front of a talent-packed field with an automatic day win.

The likes of Fallon Sherrock, Simon Whitlock and Beau Greaves will battle it out on the final day for a place on the tour.
