Plymouth Argyle parted ways with Wayne Rooney seven months after he took charge as they sit bottom of the Championship and are now looking to former boss to be reappointed.
Miron Muslic was the odds-on favourite earlier this morning but has slowly been drifting in the odds ever since while Steven Schumacher has been steadily hammered in.

Schumacher reached 11/10 as of 2pm before continuing to shorten and subsequently suspended to be the next Plymouth Argyle manager.
Argyle sacked Ian Foster back in April after just three months in charge but that move doesn’t seem to have worked either with Rooney also struggling to deliver on results in a tough Championship season.
It would not be a surprise to see Steven Schumacher appointed as he preceded Foster, departing the club in December 2023 to manage Stoke City.
They will be keen to get Schumacher back as he managed as many as 108 games in his tenure, winning 57 and only losing 30.
He was close to achieving a play-off spot in League One back in the 2021/22 season but that season ended in bitter disappointment – losing two and only picking up three points in the last five.
