Winnipeg Jets at Los Angeles Kings predictions
Earning first Star of the Game with an almost perfect evening in the crease on Monday, Connor Hellebuyck secured his league-leading 15th win in net. The two-time Vezina trophy winner made 43 stops against the Wild in his 17th start of the season.
The ex-King finally snapped his cold streak as Alex Iaffalo scored two goals in just over 13 minutes of ice time Monday evening. It was the first time since November 9 the 30-year-old was able to get one past the goalie.
David Rittich had a performance to forget against the Sharks in his most recent start. The 10-year NHL vet allowed seven goals off 21 total shots he faced. In 13 of his starts in 2024-25, the 32-year-old currently owns a .883 save percentage.
Anze Kopitar added to his team-leading points total on Monday, obtaining a goal and an assist to bring his season total points to 25. The Center is in a bit of a hot streak amassing 10 points in his last seven outings.
The top goal scorer for Los Angeles failed to light the lamp in the last game against the lowly Sharks.
However, Adrian Kempe managed to add two assists to his season account. In 22 games played this year, the 28-year-old has 10 goals.
Winnipeg Jets at Los Angeles Kings tips
Rolling into Wednesday’s tilt, the Winnipeg Jets still occupy first-overall bragging rights in the NHL standings.
Winnipeg are relentless with their special teams ranking as the most potent power play in the league stockpiling 22 goals when they’re an extra man up.
Heading into the match against the Kings, Winnipeg are a perfect eight wins in their eight facing an opponent from the Pacific Division.
Currently, the Kings are in third place in the Pacific, accruing 25 points. Despite putting up decent numbers in the standings, Los Angeles has had subpar results when facing teams who currently sit in a playoff spot as of now.
The Kings are 4-4 straight up against teams in the playoff zone. In their last six outings, the Kings have cooled off a tad only gathering two wins.
We feel this is a bad spot for the Kings in their pre-American Thanksgiving break facing a top dog like Winnipeg with generous odds provided by the books.
