Bet of the Day
Derby County to win v Swansea City @ 7/5
Derby have enjoyed a solid start to their return to the Championship, with Paul Warne’s men lying in a respectable 11th heading into the mid-week round of fixtures, and the Rams could continue their recent strong form against a Swansea side reeling from their defeat on Sunday.
The hosts have lost just one of their last eight matches in the league, drawing six, and they have also been beaten just once at Pride Park all season – a 3-2 defeat to Norwich back in September.
The Swans, meanwhile, thought they had salvaged a 3-3 draw against Leeds on Sunday when Florian Bianchini netted a 90th minute equaliser, however Wilfried Gnonto’s winner one minute later saw the hosts come away with little more than crushed morale.
The hosts could be the beneficiaries of this and, with City also losing three of their last five matches, all three points could well stay in Derbyshire.
Special of the Day
Over 2.5 goals and Mohamed Salah to score anytime in Liverpool v Real Madrid @ 17/10
Arguably the pick of the Champions League fixtures on Wednesday sees Premier League leaders Liverpool host star-studded Real Madrid and an entertaining affair should be expected at Anfield.
While the Reds are flying in the English top-flight, Los Blancos are four points adrift of rivals Barcelona in La Liga. However, Real have a knack of showing up when it matters on the continental stage, so the final result is difficult to call.
The goals market could therefore prove the most lucrative, given the calibre of attackers on show. Each of Real Madrid’s last six matches have seen at least three goals scored, while the same is also true for five of Liverpool’s last six.
A repeat of this feat could be in store, while Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah will back himself to score again on Wednesday.
Salah has five goals across his last five starts in all competitions and, after bagging a brace against Southampton on Sunday, he will be full of confidence heading into this encounter.

Longshot of the Day
Juventus to win to nil v Aston Villa @ 39/10
Aston Villa started their Champions League campaign brightly with three wins from three, but the Villans find themselves in wretched form heading into this encounter and they may struggle against Italian giants Juventus.
Unai Emery’s men have lost four of their last five in all competitions – including a 1-0 loss to Club Brugge in their last European contest – and were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Juve, meanwhile, have lost just one match in all competitions so far this season and have kept clean sheets in three of their last four.
They should have enough defensive resilience to keep the hosts at bay and the Old Lady will fancy their chances in grabbing a goal to seal victory.
