Jake Paul has been called out by UFC legend Rampage Jackson after his victory over Mike Tyson.
Paul burst into the spotlight by beating 58-year-old heavyweight legend Tyson in a bizarre boxing match, with the event a huge commercial success.

As a result of several viewership records tumbling, ‘El Gallo’ has been inundated with fight call-outs, as fighters believe they can halt his time as an influencer-turned-fighter.
His latest comes in MMA, where he hopes to make his debut in 2025 after inking a deal with fight promotion PFL.
And after Paul issued a public call-out to UFC star Conor McGregor, MMA legend Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has taken his moment to make a plea to the social media star.
He tweeted: “Yo @jakepaul. Watch how you talk to MMA royalty, I’ll fight you in MMA no weight class for no pay.
“That’s a great deal.. but i bet YOU won’t. Stop disrespecting people in my f***ing sport homie.
“You fighting Tyson was your last straw, go back to boxing wrestlers.”
He then added in a response to a fan: “I’m good enough to beat the f*** out of that kid.
“I’m just sick of him picking his own opponents in lopsided fights.”
An open-weight is exactly the fight that Paul offered McGregor, but it seems unlikely to happen.
Jackson would be after a three-round bout, given he no longer competes in MMA, and has been retired for half a decade since losing to Fedor Emelianenko in 2019.
At the height of his career, ‘Rampage’ picked up the UFC light-heavyweight title and was a real fan favourite.
But he is now 46-years-old, and Paul could be unlikely to fight a veteran given the criticism he received for his dull affair with Tyson.
It is a surprising change of stance from Jackson on Paul’s boxing career given he had previously been complimentary of his time in the squared circle.
The veteran had suggested both Jake and Logan Paul were helping bring new eyes to the sport.
“I really don’t think about them, but I think they are entertaining. It seems like they resuscitated boxing,” Rampage told SCMP.
“I think boxing is a great craft. I’ve been training in boxing for 15 or more years now and I fell in love with it. I really like boxing.
“I like boxing but that s*** got boring after a while. Once Mike Tyson wasn’t around it wasn’t as exciting no more.
“Mike Tyson, his heyday was the late 80s, early 90s, after that I wasn’t really into it.
“I feel like the Paul Brothers have brought a bit more excitement to it. They’ve been boxing people who are not even boxers, people can criticise but at the end of the day, it’s entertaining.”
Paul has not yet made it clear exactly what he plans to do next, but he will be hoping for just a fraction of the commercial success he generated with Tyson in his next fight.
