Fulham vs Wolves prediction

Wolverhampton picked up their first win last time out beating fellow relegation rivals Southampton, putting them bottom of the table and giving themselves some chances of making an escape from the relegation zone.

There’s not much in it between the bottom four teams currently with all four picking up their first wins of the season within the last three games.

But the gaps start to appear beyond that in the table so Wolverhampton will have to keep the wins coming.

They don’t quite look capable of bouncing back that much yet though they are unbeaten in their last three.

But they take on a Fulham side doing well in seventh place, albeit with only a handful of points between 3rd and 13th.

The Cottagers are also unbeaten in their last three, winning their last two against Palace and Brentford.

Fulham vs Wolves betting tip

They play once more in London too which is likely a bonus given they’ve only won once on the road, though it’s still far too early to determine home/away form until all teams have played a variety of opponents.

Fulham look like they should be able to get the win here or at least dominate, but it’s not going to be straightforward.

Their wins so far this season haven’t exactly been by a wide margin, winning 2-1 over Leicester, 1-0 over Forest, 2-1 over Brentford and 2-0 against ten man Palace.

Their 3-1 win against Newcastle at home was amongst a great bit of form and they could well play out another tough draw against the odds here if they aren’t clinical.

Their 1-1 draw with West Ham was a prime example of that as they had 21 shots but only five found the target.

Prior to Wolves’s clean sheet last time, they’d conceded 2+ goals in each of their previous eight games in all competitions, so there could be a chance for Fulham to get a couple of goals even without being as clinical.

  • Over 3.5 goals at 13/8 on Betfred
