Charles Barkley went too far with Tom Brady and paid the price.
During a hotly contested Match battle that saw Tiger Woods and the NFL GOAT sharing the same golf course, Brady initially felt the sting of Barkley’s relentless trash talk.
“Tom, because you’re my man — $50,000 if you hit the green,” Barkley said as a Match commentator.
“Wow,” Brady replied.
Barkley — who’s an avid gambler — appeared to win his 1-on-1 battle when Brady pushed a shot far right and into the rough.
“Chuck, you saved yourself $50,000,” Brady said.
“Woof,” Barkley replied. “I should have just said, ‘If you can just keep it on the planet.”
As Barkley and Woods jokingly went back and forth, Brady kept his head down and increased his intensity during a charity match in 2020 that raised $20 million for COVID-19 relief efforts.
“I was not comfortable the whole time, but raising $20 million as people are going through such tough times, it’s something I’ll always remember and cherish,” said Peyton Manning, who was paired with Mickelson on the winning team.
“I can beat Tom Brady after what I’m seeing now,” Barkley said. “I want him.”
Woods fired back.
“Chuck, I think the whole world wants a piece of you,” the man who has won 15 majors and five Masters said.
As a seven-time Super Bowl winner verbally traded blows with one of the best NBA players of all-time, Barkley appeared confident that he had thrown Brady off his golf game.

“Chuck, I like when you’re talking s***,” Brady said.
Barkley laughed.
Brady had the last one.
He expertly lifted a ball onto the green and when it stopped, it ended up in the hole.
“Oh my goodness!” a broadcaster yelled.
Brady stared at the hole he just nailed and flexed on Barkley.
“Chuck, take a suck of that, Chuck,” Brady said. “Shut your mouth, Chuck.
“Take a little of that medicine. Get your butt out here.”
Shaquille O’Neal and Barkley recently engaged in a friendly bet on Inside the NBA involving $5 million.
Superman lost to the Chuckster, which made getting beat by Brady more tolerable.
