Ally’s Acca: Arsenal, Bolton, Stockport and Livingston all to win – (was 13/2) NOW 15/2 – CLAIM HERE
1. Arsenal to beat Nottingham Forest at home (Sat, 3pm)
Arsenal will be desperate to get back to winning ways on the weekend having won just one of their last five matches before the international break, and will be looking forward to returning to the Emirates, where they are unbeaten in all competitions this season.
Martin Odegaard is back fit, while Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice should hopefully be well rested after dropping out of England camp leaving an essentially fully fit squad midfield and attack for the first time in a long time.
Nottingham Forest’s surprise fast start to the season showed signs of slowing down a fortnight ago after their 3-1 defeat at home to Newcastle, and haven’t beaten Arsenal away from home since 1989, 13 meetings ago.
2. Bolton to beat Blackpool at home (Sat, 12:30pm)
Bolton head into the weekend having lost just two of their last nine League One matches, whilst also having won each of their last three games in all competitions.
They host a Blackpool side struggling just three places above the relegation zone and without a win in their last seven league outings, and with defeats in their last three away league games.
3. Stockport to beat Burton away from home (Sat, 3pm)
Stockport make the short trip to Staffordshire on Saturday looking to close the three point gap between themselves in fourth place and Birmingham in the second and final automatic promotion spot, as they seek back to back promotions into the second tier.
Dave Challinor’s high flying side have won three of their last four league games and have only lost one of their seven away matches in League One ahead of their visit to a struggling Burton side.
Saturday’s hosts currently sit second bottom of the League One table, with only goal difference separating them from the foot of the table after losing seven of their last nine league games, with just one win at that run, coming against Shrewsbury, the only side below the Brewers in the table.
4. Livingston to beat Airdrieonians away from home (Sat, 3pm)
Livingston head to Airdrie on Saturday having lost just one league so far this season as they bid to return to the top flight at the first time of asking.
David Martindale’s side currently sit second in the table, three points behind Falkirk, a gap they will be looking close this weekend against the divisions bottom side as they aim to extend the three match winning streak they’re currently on.
Airdrieonians, meanwhile, have lost seven games on the trot heading into the weekend and have picked up just one point from their last 10 Championship matches, already finding themselves seven points adrift at the bottom of the table.
